On this webpage I will attempt to identify the top poker games on the Internet. In my opinion, some of the best online poker games are at a little known room called Absolute Poker. I'll be honest; I was attracted to
AbsolutePoker.com because of their deposit bonus. Normally I don't
worry too much about deposit bonuses, because for the most part,
online poker rooms don't offer tremendous bonus opportunities, but
poker games's first deposit bonus was good enough to get my
attention. poker games players will have to play in real money tournaments or real
money ring games in order to earn their deposit bonus. For your deposit
bonus you will have to earn 100 points for each $10 in bonus that you will be
paid. Players will receive 1 point for raked hands (min$.25) and 1 point for
every $1 paid in tournament fees. poker games players have a total of 60 days to make the
bonus. AbsolutePoker has other promotions too like their Refer a Friend bonus
which gives the referrer $75 and their friend gets $50(conditions apply).
poker games also has a reward program that players can use for gear and
to enter tournaments. 1 point is given per hand with a min rake of $.25. 4
Points for every $1 in tourney fees.
For 2007, Absolute is offering new players $250 in bonus money by matching their first deposit dollar for dollar. I don't know of
any online cardroom which offers a better initial signup bonus.

WSOP Qualifiers at Absolute

The first thing I did when I signed up for a new account with
Absolute Poker was play in a WSOP qualifier. At the time of this
writing, they have an online qualifier every Sunday with a $100
buy-in. I've played in two of these tournaments, and I thought they
went very smoothly. I placed 8th in one of them and 150-something in
the other. There were about 150 or 160 players in the two qualifiers
I played in.
Most online poker rooms offer qualifiers to the World Series of
Poker now, but I've only played at the ones at poker games,
partially because I like the tournament play there. The players are
generally pretty good, but the blinds don't go up as fast as at some
other websites, so a good player, as opposed to a gambler, tends to
do a little better at Absolute.
